14:10 Fasting

14:10 fasting means that you are fasting for 14 hours per day and eating in a 10 hour window. When you select this option, GOLD AI will automatically calculate your daily schedule to accommodate this.

This is called front loaded circadian fasting and can be effective as a metabolic tool to improve body composition. Breakfast should NOT be skipped when training, because cortisol levels are high and muscle loss can occur. For 14:10 fasting, dinner is moved earlier, and an emphasis on slow digesting carbohydrate is recommended.
