Workout Type

For this initial question of Recent focus, you should choose the workout type that you have done most often over the recent week. We use this for your initial meal equations for more accurate meal macros until the app has time to learn from your logged workouts over time.

Training Type tips:

  1. Aim to balance your exposure to different types of training weekly to stimulate each energy system. The systems are ATP-CP (weights/strength), GLYCOLYTIC (sprints, intervals, HIIT), and OXIDATIVE (cardio/aerobic endurance).

  2. Your training type balance depends on what your objective is, and how much each should be adjusted in your weekly scheduling in priority with your sports, fitness, or body composition goal.

  3. Over time, your workouts should change with a principle called periodization, so that you progress over time. This includes progressive overload, intentional recovery, and other techniques Olympic medal winning athletes use.
